Organic Pu Erh Imperial is a high grade of Pu Erh that has been specially aged to create a fantastic tasting tea, and one that is certainly the tea of the moment! When drunk regularly this type of tea is proven to reduce cholesterol and is widely drunk to control weight and lower blood pressure. This particular Imperial has a very uniform leaf that has a deep aroma, characteristically earthy, slightly smoky, and quite distinctive. The liquor is a deep amber red in colour and is particularly smooth with a lasting taste. It was widely reported that Victoria Beckham drank Pu Erh Imperial to manage her weight after having their second child. It was also reported that VB enjoys a tea that keeps her skin rejuvenated. Our Pi Luo Chun and Xi Hu Long Jing are high in Antioxidants, as are the white teas White Peony and Shou Mee, and will keep the skin in lovely condition when drunk regularly as well as protecting against cancers, strengthening the immune system and much much more.
This tea is amazing, you have the traditional Indian spices of Cloves, Cinnamon, Ginger, Cardamom and Black Pepper producing a superb aroma and flavour. These spices are combined with a high quality Chinese Sencha leaf to produce a refreshing cup. These leaves are suitable for at least 2 infusions meaning you will get around 200 cups or more!
Rooibos or Red Bush is a South African herb, aspalathus linearis. It is naturally caffeine free and rich in Vitamin C. With a not dissimilar taste to tea, Rooibos has become increasingly respected as a healthy addition to any diet and has become very popular in the UK.
As featured in The Guardian, Pai Mu Tan or White Peony, is an elegant and very rare White Tea of the finest quality. It is produced in China's Fujian province during early spring, by carefully selecting only the finest tender top bud and two leaves. It takes it's name from the appearance of the downy leaves said to be like delicate petals of the Chinese White Peony. This results in a unique nutty almost bamboo like fragrance and a sweet, mellow taste. This truly is one of the most exquisite teas you can buy and an absolute pleasure to drink, whats more, white teas are now recognised as being higher in Antioxidants and lower in caffeine then Green tea. Because these leaves are so light an Infuser or Teapot would benefit, it will also mean you can easily keep your leaves for a second infusion.
